So WHY DO I KEEP GETTING THIS WARNING? Not only is it incredibly annoying, I am wondering if it is a serious issue, perhaps even serious enough to eventually crash my hard drive, as happened on December 17th (approximately 2.5 months after the first time I upgraded to Windows 7, and I was getting that warning message the whole time prior to the crash. Now, when I go into Device Manager and click on Displays Manager, I can right click on my graphics adapter, which indicates that (1) it is already enabled and (2) it has the most up-to-date driver(s) available. Please update your ATI graphics driver, or enable your ATI adapter using the Displays Manager." "The Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Here is my issue: After upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista, I get a warning message on startup which reads (verbatim Graphics Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 This particular software suite updates the AMD Catalyst Display Driver and the AMD Catalyst Control Center. The last time this happened I was able to fix it by changing the scaling options from the ATI Catalyst Control Center. ![]() First off, here are the specs on my laptop: When I did the ATI Radeon HD4200 windows update my screen suddenly reduced in size and now therees a 3/4th to 1 inch black border all around it making my desktop screen much smaller. Hopefully someone can help me out with this.
